My name is Tina Schumacher and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Wisconsin who provides telehealth statewide. I work with adolescents and adults as well as couples and families. Over the last 25 years, I have worked with people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, trauma, and addictions of any kind. My approach to therapy is to see each person as unique and listen to understand their experience. The clients I see most often tend to have challenges that begin early in life and stem from relationships within the family they grew up in.
These difficulties surface in adulthood and take the form of anxiety, depression, stress, anger, and addiction that negatively impact relationships, parenting, and living to your full potential. I also work with adolescents who struggle with the emotional ups and downs that are often experienced during these challenging years.
I like to communicate in a style that will leave you feeling heard, comfortable, and understood. My goal is to provide compassion, patience, encouragement, feedback, and authenticity to create a trusting therapeutic relationship. I have a laid-back personality style and want clients to feel comfortable being themselves.
