As a multicultural psychologist, I have listened to and worked with people of all ages, genders, racial-ethnic identities, social class, citizen/immigration status who have struggled with emotions, relationships, traumas, addictions, life transitions, as well as questions around identity/belonging in our increasingly complex and global society. I take a holistic mind-body approach where my primary focus is on building a therapeutic relationship of safety and trust between us.
In sessions, I integrate psychodynamic, mindfulness, and evidence-based therapies (ACT, CBT, DBT, CPT, Somatic). As a lifelong learner, I also adapt any approach to your unique history, life experiences, and personal values. I particularly enjoy working with healthcare professionals, graduate students, and creatives.
I offer a sliding scale and therapy in English and Korean. In particular, I seek to empower clients of diverse backgrounds around social issues of oppression, discrimination, racial injustice, and IPV/gender violence. Please feel free to contact me directly and inquire about specific services.
