I approach counseling from a Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Person Centered or Child Centered Play Therapy perspective. I offer Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Ego State/IFS Therapy. You are unique in your issues and our therapeutic relationship is tailored to you. My approach is a respectful inquiry into my client’s personal issues to envision improved functioning and a future to move towards change. We will work toward positive thoughts feelings and behaviors to improve your life. I see children 12+ Adolescent/Teen, and adult clients in individual therapy.
I believe in the power of healing through relationships and recognize the difficulty individuals, children, and parents go through during these struggles. It is my goal to help those in the family maintain a sense of normalcy during these times.
My educational and therapeutic experience have been focused on working with adults, children, adolescents and teens. These areas of expertise include trauma, anxiety, depression, social emotional development, learning and/or behavioral issues, and provide support during those times of struggle that we all face from time to time.
