My name is Tina Owen, LCSW, and I am licensed in Louisiana with over 15 years of professional work experience in the behavioral health field. I earned my MSSW in 2017 from University of Louisville's Kent School of Social Work. Each client is unique, so therapy should be too! I work with clients age 18+. I have experience in helping clients with PTSD/CPTSD, anxiety, grief and loss, LGBTQ2+ related issues, and depression. I am highly specialized in working with adults who have experienced childhood interpersonal trauma, including sexual abuse.
My style is pretty laid back and humorous, while also affirming. I believe everyone deserves a safe space to feel heard, understood, and valued. I work with my clients to create an open and collaborative environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
