"When You Stumble in Life, Make it Part of Your Dance" I am a Licensed Professional Counselor; I specialize in alcohol and drug addiction. I believe that recovery is a journey for each individual to explore, and requires a trusting and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship. That each individual is the expert on self and will lead themselves to true happiness and freedom through their personal process of change. There are times we get lost on our journey, and need some help finding our road again...I would like to help.
I have years of experience working with individuals, couples, and groups to help them break free from the cycle of addiction, work through relationship issues, and the negative effects of mental health patterns and issues. I embrace a Holistic and integrated approach; including: EMDR, CBT, Self-Care Techniques, Psychoeducation, empowerment and MI.
I believe in new beginnings, and am continually amazed at what people can do when they feel empowered to change their lives. My work continues in the field of co-occurring disorders and addiction as an Adjunct Professor in the DARC program at NVCC. Vegan ally!
