Hello! My name is Tina Bennett and I am a licensed independent clinical social worker. I work with adults and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, depression and PTSD. I work with individuals on working towards goals that align with their values. I am familiar with cognitive behavioral techniques as well as Acceptance and Commitment therapy. I like to connect with people where they are at with life. I consider myself down to earth and easy to talk to. I get to know folks by discovering what is important to them, and then developing goals that work toward that value set.
I have a nearly 30-year history in social work. I have worked with many populations and enjoy working with people in general. What keeps me going is learning every day and feeling the energy from the people I serve to the people I work with.
During the first session we will get to know each other. There are typically some questions about history and what led you to take this step. If clinically indicated, there are some assessments to complete. You will leave the session with some direction and some goals to work towards
