Life presents us with emotional challenges, which can deeply affect us, sometimes unexpectedly. It might be the death of someone we dearly love; a loved one's life-threatening diagnosis; going through a painful divorce, including an emotionally-challenging late-in life “gray divorce.” You may be feeling grief, sadness, lonely, scared, betrayed, or not wanting to face another day. You could be the parent of a child having difficult feelings, or who is resisting to see one of his/her parents. These times challenge you and your loved ones at the deepest core and when you are most vulnerable.
I work with adults in long and short-term psychotherapy. My areas of specialties include dealing with relationship issues; loss and bereavement; separation; divorce; parent coaching; and intergenerational (parent/adult child) family dynamics. Together we will explore your goals for seeking treatment and assess if I can helpful.
My more than 40 years in my private psychotherapy practice have given me a breadth of experience and depth of compassion, which inform my work through the most painful of life's losses, past and present, and the internal changes and challenges they present.
