Hello. My name is Tim Wheeler, LPC, and I am a Clinical Therapist living near Aspen, Colorado. I provide Individual Psychotherapy, Family and Couples Therapy.
I use an eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing many different modalities depending on the need of the client. My approach includes but not limited to: CBT, Trauma Focused-CBT, Experiential, Psychodynamic, Brief Solution-Focused, Narrative, Gestalt, and Reframing. In Couples therapy I utilize Gottman's approach.
I like to develop the treatment plans with the clients so that the goals are coming directly from my clients. They should expect therapy to start with rapport building conversations surrounding what is bringing them into therapy and what are some of their goals while in therapy.
