My passion is to help people create an environment for growth so that they can thrive! I have been helping people grow throughout my entire career. I currently live in Colorado Springs with my wife, Deanna. We have two adopted sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandsons. I graduated from Wheaton with a BA in Psychology and worked for many years as a chaplain in the juvenile justice system. Then I obtained my MA in Counseling from Denver Seminary and had a private practice in Denver for several years. We moved to Austria to pursue an opportunity to care for the mental health of cross-cultural workers.

Since moving back to the US, I have focused on helping people work through trauma and relational difficulties, as well as helping them get "unstuck" from issues that prevent their growth. I have a PhD in Psychology, and the focus of my dissertation was resilience.

I enjoy all of the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer: skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and climbing. I also enjoy reading and hanging out in interesting coffee shops.
