I use a client-centered approach and focus on developing a meaningful therapeutic relationship with individuals to support them in achieving their goals. I'm eclectic in my approach, utilizing CBT and DBT skills based treatment modalities as well as integrating psycho-dynamic concepts to help individuals gain insight about how previous life experiences have shaped their understanding of themselves and the world.
I firmly believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in whether therapy will be useful to the individual I'm working with. I'm interested in seeing the whole person and learning about their life history and help in the meaning making process.
