I hope to assist in bringing compassion, respect, acceptance, insight, freedom and healing to individuals experiencing struggles with substance use and other mental health concerns. Substance use disorders are mental health disorders and are typically a coping mechanism used to afford relief from a variety of intrapsychic conflicts and decisions that effect our lives.
I work from an Integrated Harm Reduction perspective utilizing a strong Existential approach supported with cognitive behavioral elements. I hope to assist clients as they explore the intrapsychic conflicts and decisions that led to their current circumstances struggling with presenting symptoms like depression, anxiety, trauma and substance use.
I always provide unconditional positive regard, respect, acceptance and compassion to the individuals I work with.
