Happiness is getting along with the important people in your life. We work to increase your ability to get along with significant others. We do this without cookie cutter diagnosis and medications. We have to learn the art, we are good enough as we are, regardless how much more we acquire.

Unhappiness is when your life is not the way you want. We must repair strained relationships to be happy. We do this by changing the one variable within our control: your own behavior. No matter how bad your relationship, it can improve if two conditions exists, goodwill and knowledge. If you supply the good will, then we will supply the knowledge.

Therapy aims to enhance self-understanding and expand options for making constructive choices. Change can involve discomfort and effort. Focusing soley on diagnosis, trauma, or past experiences may not facilitate progress. Therapy that does not challenge you is not helping. Change yourself and you change the relationship this takes courage.
