As an experienced clinical social worker specializing in the treatment of persons struggling with substance use, chronic mental illness, and traumatic brain injury my interests include working with adults/young adults 16+ who struggle with anxiety, depression, complex/single incident trauma, relationships, self-esteem, shame/guilt, LGBT issues, etc. I embrace the opportunity to join my client on their journey while using my skills of active listening, empathy, and humor to help guide, but with the knowledge that each individual knows what fits best as well as their ability to steer in the direction of their goals.
I received my MSW from Marywood University in 2015. I am credentialed as a LCSW through the ASWB and as a CBIS through ACBIS. I have worked in a variety of settings including: Community-based environments, Outpatient settings, Employee Assistance Program, Inpatient co-occurring treatment centers, and Traumatic Brain Injury Programs.
I enjoy building strong, trusting therapeutic relationships and providing a safe environment for people looking to explore their emotions and struggles. I support person-centered care, mindfulness practices, strengths-based techniques, and trauma-informed care as individuals explore barriers and begin moving towards healing.
