Through my 18 years as a therapist I’ve come to understand the common issues that get in the way of peoples’ growth and success. I can help you identify what is getting in your way, understand what you learned early on that caused you to feel stuck, and address those issues in a way that creates lasting change. I utilize trauma treatments such as EMDR and other experiential strategies to help you live life with more vibrancy and joy. I am also getting certified in Terry Real's Relational Life Therapy (RLT) for couples counseling and welcome couples to therapy utilizing this effective approach for sustainable relational change.
I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQ community and provide an affirming and safe environment. I work with people on issues of sex and sexuality in a sex-positive manner. I am trauma-informed and understand the effects of trauma, both big and small, and have strategies to help people heal from those painful life experiences.
