Congratulations on taking a vital step in reaching out and searching for therapeutic relationship. If you are feeling anxious, unhappy, stuck, confused, struggling with complications in your relationships, or challenged by other problems interrupting your daily life, I would be honored to assist you in this process. As each human being and relationship is unique and special, I work with my clients according to their individual needs, qualities and struggles in a humanistic and interactive way. Working with my clients, I combine approaches that are rooted in gestalt, psychodynamic, mindfulness orientation and cognitive- behavioral theories.
My experience includes working with adults, children/teens and families with diverse population and issues. I have an extensive clinical background working with children/teens who have difficulties in school setting, behavior problems, mood issues (anxiety, depression) and adjustment difficulties. I help empower the parents/family to cope with the challenges.
I perceive the therapeutic relationship to be the key to successful therapy. My approach is to engage my clients in a warm, nonjudgmental, supportive, respectful and accepting style, where awareness and change can emerge. In addition to regular hours, I offer early morning, evening and weekend appointments for your convenience.
