Life is hard and especially so when you are feeling alone. My name is Tim and I am here to help people overcome their specific hurdles that life has placed in their path. I focus on working together with my clients to meet their specific needs and overcome their specific problems. I have worked in the mental health space in one capacity or another since 2016 and have been around it my entire life. I have worked with a myriad of different disorders ranging from depression and anxiety to personality disorders. I have worked with individuals of many faiths, nationalities, socioeconomic statuses, races, genders, disabilities, and more.
I use an eclectic style that focuses on warm, person-centered counseling but incorporates pieces of Gestalt, Rogerian theory, Feminist theory, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and more. I tailor my approach to each person while remaining as authentic to myself. I have found it crucial to meet people where they are and work to build them up.
