As an LPC with 37 years experience, licensed in Virginia & North Carolina I use EMDR and CBT with clients experiencing trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, depression & life changes, suicidal thoughts & men's issues. A former firefighter with experience treating Veterans, I understand the unique issues facing those who have served in uniform. I also work with clients to enhance performance on the field, in the boardroom or as operators. If indicated, I draw on each client's unique spirituality as a source of strength. Clients report increased joy, happiness and success as well as decreased anxiety, worry, self-doubt and flashbacks.
I offer a combination of EMDR, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and life experience to assist clients in managing & integrating trauma, navigating life & relationship changes, enhancing performance, gaining & maintaining sobriety and managing anxiety, depression and grief.
