Whether stuck in a dark place, or unable to contend with the constant stream of thoughts, in therapy we will both gradually step into these difficult spaces to become curious about what can open up, and where we might find durable roots.
Both my work and research have brought me closer to themes of the self-loss. Perhaps you are familiar with the feeling of losing traction with life around you. As though the days are bleak, or at any moment, spinning chaotically. It can be a relief just to be able to get through the day, and to gradually find the words that bring you back into connection.
As a psychodynamic therapist, I approach therapy as a collaborative and creative process. We will begin unfolding the many patterns woven into you that feel out of place, and listen out for unexpected openings where you can find movement and meaning.
Finding the right therapist can be such a challenge! Happy to answer any questions related to my approach or visit my website.
I practiced as a psychotherapist in the United Kingdom for almost seven years. I work with a broad range of issues and have specific expertise in working with grief, intimacy issues, and trauma in relation to abusive relationships.
