Not accepting insurance; several weekday 8am and 9am slots available - I specialize in sexual issues, specifically related to functioning, sexual shame, sexual trauma, impulsive behaviors, sex and porn "addictions," low and hyper-arousal issues - all from a sex-positive, kink/poly/bdsm-friendly stance, as well as Christian-friendly and all around non-judgment. I also help couples navigate challenges in their intimate relationships. Working with sex means I also work with a lot with trauma, anxiety, grief, impulsivity, and depression.
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) informs a lot of my work, so I encourage clients to 'approach' various goals outside of the therapy room. It also means that our sessions may contain teaching skills, including emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness skills.
