I am interested in working with people who want to live their best lives. Spiritual emergence is the term that best describes the process of self-discovery and self-actualization. Spirituality in this context is the realization of one's potential and the recognition that the things that get in the way are sometimes the portal to a more fulfilling life.
I am trained in Brainspotting and EMDR. My practice uses an integral psychology framework - these are holistic and mindfulness-based techniques incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Existential therapy, and Ecopsychology. I work with addictions, trauma, anxiety, and existential despair to deal with environmental, political, and cultural stress.
I was drawn to the study of psychology to address my personal struggles with mental health. Having found more than I expected, I want to share the practices that have aided me and my clients in discovering the pathways to our best lives. It begins with the question "What does this situation (symptom) mean to me, and what do I do about it?"
