I approach therapy with individuals and couples relationally with a belief people are doing their best and heal in a supportive, accepting environment. In individual therapy, I focus on people with neurodivergence including ADHD and autism, social phobia, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, career, and relationship issues. In couples therapy, I use a mix of the Gottman Method and EFT to assist in improving connection, creating a positive relationship, and empowering couples to help each other find meaning and reach their dreams together. You do not need to be alone. Connection and support can make difficult times easier.
I love my job embracing the honor, privilege, and joy in learning more about each person and couple. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as a foundation for my approach to counseling and then individualize treatment for each person. I do evidence-based therapy with acceptance that every feeling, belief, behavior, and person makes sense in their context.
