We seek therapy because we have experienced some form of disconnection and we long for re-connection. We desire greater trust with a spouse or partner, understanding and healthier boundaries with family, or renewed courage to be our whole, authentic self. Therapy offers us a chance to take seriously the disconnection we experience, to better understand how we got here and to begin re-connecting with self and others by shifting how we think, feel and behave. My role as your therapist is to provide nonjudgmental support and professional guidance as you begin the difficult and life-giving work of re-connection.
I specialize in couples therapy and individual therapy for adult males. I have received training in Relational Life Therapy, Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. I am trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) an individual therapy model designed to treat emotional distress and trauma.
