I am a seasoned therapist with lots of life experience. I have a special interest in treating anxiety-related disorders such as stress, generalized anxiety, social anxiety and trauma, but I also address symptoms of depression that often coexist with anxiety. I am experienced in addressing issues that may arise during life transitions, such as divorce, parenting, going to college, empty nest, aging and grief. I am an immigrant myself and feel very comfortable working with individuals across a broad cultural and ethnic spectrum.
I have a down-to-earth approach to therapy and emphasize the uniqueness and strengths of each person I work with. I strive to provide a safe, warm and supportive environment.
I'm currently available for video sessions only. I am based in Houston but available to see clients anywhere in Texas via telehealth. I'm happy to have a brief phone consult to see if we can work together.
