I believe in the power of connection. I provide a non-judgmental, open, and supportive therapeutic relationship for individuals to explore their struggles and strengths as well as develop ways to tune into the wisdom they already have within. I empower clients to guide their own process and timeline. As a social worker, I consider all systems at play in a person’s life, these may include family dynamics, or systems of oppression. I aim to practice cultural humility and I strive to be an ally for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.
Whether the issues you're concerned about are related to anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship issues, I utilize approaches that are rooted in understanding of trauma and attachment - such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, and body attunement.
