I am a Couple and Family Therapist as well as a Sex Therapist specializing in with over 10 years of experience providing individual, couple, group and family psychotherapy. As a social justice driven therapist, I have expertise in working with the LGBTQ community, Heterosexual couples, non-monagamous individuals/couples, communities of color, health issues,grief & loss, trauma survivors, and couples dealing with a variety of issues from infidelity to sexual dysfunction.
I have been trained in Systems Family Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Systemic Sex Therapy. A big influence in my life has been the feminist perspective. Being a family and couples therapist has taught me to meet clients where they are at and, support their journey to process and heal while being empowered.
Life can be tough. I believe our ability to manage life on lifes terms starts first with acknowledging that there is nothing wrong with us but, moreso that challenges in life that happened to us have impacted how we move and if we are stuck .
