I have over 15 years of experience providing individual, couple, group and family psychotherapy. As a social justice driven therapist, I have expertise in working with the LGBTQ community, Heterosexual couples, non-monagamous individuals/couples, communities of color, health issues,grief & loss, trauma survivors, and couples dealing with a variety of issues from infidelity to sexual dysfunction.
I have been trained in Systems Family Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Systemic Sex Therapy. A big influence in my life has been the feminist perspective. Being a family and couples therapist has taught me to meet clients where they are at and, support their journey to process and heal while being empowered.
