I have been in Community Based Mental Health since 2007 and I have been in Private Practice since 2019 with Rogers Counseling Services where I am the owner and clinical director. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in the state of North Carolina ( S12780)
I have a passion for young adults and middle-aged women. Because I too am a BIPOC( black Indigenous person of color) I like to support those clients. I also work with people in the LQBTC+IA community. I focus on utilizing techniques to manage anxiety, depression, and trauma ( i.e- EMDR) to name a few.
I create a warm, judgmental environment where the client has the opportunity to be themselves without criticism, guilt, or shame. I believe that my job is to support the client with the obstacles that life offers.
