Hello! My name is Dr. Tiffany Ortiz, and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I work with individuals of all ages and have a specialization in children, adolescents, and their families. My main aim is to support the healing process and movement towards growth. By providing a warm, comfortable, and safe therapeutic space, I help clients become self-aware, create meaning out of experiences, and develop skills to manage difficulties. Incorporating psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and multicultural perspectives, I have an integrative and eclectic approach to treatment.
It is my belief understanding the source of emotional difficulties and challenges develop insight and understanding within the self. This in turn will help strengthen the emotional capacity to shift thinking and better manage struggles. First and foremost, I want to ensure my clients feel comfortable and safe in therapy.
I truly under understand therapy may not always be easy, therefore sessions are client-led. I follow the lead of the client and fully support the process. My approach involves co-creating a strong therapeutic alliance with clients through her warm and friendly nature with the use of humor and genuine interest in getting to know clients on a deeper level.
