Hello, my name is Tiffany Martinez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona. My approach to therapy is relaxed with a person-centered approach. I work mainly with children, ages 3-18 but also have truly enjoyed supporting young adults and parents of any age through life transitions. My approach truly aims to meet you where you are. I am typically utilizing narrative, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy with clients. If someone has parenting difficulties, we will engage in reflective parenting strategies as well as others.
I use these approaches to support my clients in managing anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, worry, and develop emotional awareness. I became a therapist after much deliberation on how to best engage with a side of myself that loved listening to people.
After going into teaching and going into other public service positions, therapy showed up at my doorstep and I never looked back. I am truly lucky to be doing something that I enjoy and that allows me to help people in such a powerful way.
