Sometimes it's hard to know what's wrong or even what you might need in therapy and need a place to start. If you have been wondering why it's hard to concentrate, why your memory isn't as good as it used to be and you're stressed out all the time and don't know why, and have tried therapy before and feel like you need someone to take you "deeper," I can help. I help people discover how they survived difficult situations in the past, but how those same survival behaviors are now interfering with daily life, like constantly watching everything or watching out the window, waiting for the worst but not sure what it is.
I am currently accepting new clients and accept most major insurances. I have been practicing for 16 years and specialize in helping people heal and process how a tough childhood and family life still affect them today. I use trauma-informed and relational therapy, meaning that I concentrate on making sure that therapy is a safe space for you to heal.
