About
My ideal client is someone open to the process of therapy. Someone who is willing to show up for themselves, and “put in the work”. My client may be someone dealing with anxiety, depression, or challenges of ADHD, such as Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria. My client may be feeling in a rut or “stuck” in personal aspects of their life. My client may be challenged by different phases and stages of life, by not feeling capable or feeling easily overwhelmed. They want to engage in therapy and work on achieving their personal goals in a space where they are seen, heard, validated and encouraged.
My therapeutic style is warm, open and supportive; and my hope is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to heal. I am an eclectic clinician, but tend to borrow heavily from humanistic, person-centered, strengths-based work. It is my belief that you should be viewed as a whole person, who is made up of a multitude of gifts, talents and strengths.
Through our work together, you can learn how to break the cycle of negative thoughts and emotions. Believe in yourself and your ability to overcome. Gain gratitude for being able to change and grow and transform how you think about situations in your life and find your peace. If you keep waiting for the perfect moment to start; you will be waiting forever.
