I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, specifically the San Fernando Valley. I grew up with parents who had immigrated from El Salvador to escape the civil war that was happening during the 80s. Growing up as a child of immigrants taught me early on to honor the richness of people’s stories and to approach every background with respect and curiosity. I am truly honored to work with you throughout this journey.
I recognize that every person’s story is unique, and the same experiences can impact us in very different ways.
My professional experience includes working with survivors of domestic violence, substance use, and other forms of trauma. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness practices to promote healing and resilience.
