Many of my clients first come to therapy looking for a way to get back to something that feels normal. We all wrestle to find balance and restoration after a loss or a major life change, and can often feel lost and confused about where to start. After a while, exhaustion, anxiety, depression, and outright overwhelm can weigh us down in mind, body, and spirit. It can sometimes be hard to see a path forward out of trauma, transition, or grief. I believe that each of us deserves to be supported in finding a way through our pain into a new place of growth, healing, and hope.
While therapy can often start in a place of uncertainty, I work hard from our first session to build a treatment plan with you that will effectively address your main goals and cultivate momentum. During sessions, we’ll leverage your strengths, skills, and insights – pairing these with multiple evidence-based therapy approaches shown to have lasting impact.
My goal is to offer compassionate support and client-informed guidance, while occasionally providing a purposeful challenge as appropriate (sometimes we all need a kind “nudge” from someone on our team).
