I specialize in mental health care with adults. This includes anger management, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, relational issues, and job-related stress. Also, I am trauma informed and work with the progressive counting model. I have provided care in all hospitalization and traditional outpatient settings so this means I am comfortable working with individuals with more or less severe symptoms.
I primarily work from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy frameworks.
My sole focus is to educate you on skills that will allow you to identify problematic thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and encourage practice between sessions to reinforce positive behaviors.
