Life can be difficult sometimes; whether you are a teen developing your identity, a family suffering from communication issues, or are an adult that needs support with your mental health. I have over 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents as a school counselor, which also gave me experience working with family units and adults as well. I enjoy helping my clients to learn coping strategies, determine their identities, and feeling support during difficult times. If you, your family, or your teenager are struggling, then I am here to support you in whatever way you might need.
I believe we can all find the coping skills needed to manage life’s challenges. My goal is to provide a comfortable environment for my clients to express and explore how to handle difficult emotions and circumstances from a person-centered approach. I also utilize cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral strategies in my work.
