We all face obstacles and may need support, guidance and/ or empathy. I provide such support in the traditional office setting or via secure video sessions. Using best practices rooted in diagnostics and assessment my clinical work incorporates cognitive behavioral and post-modern (gender and multicultural) therapies. I work with clients from all backgrounds affected by mood and anxiety concerns, eating problems, sports-related concerns, gender issues, acculturative stress, and work-life balance. Meeting client goals, improving functioning, and collaboration with clients about progress are all at the core of my practice.
My clients often present with gender-specific concerns. Daily life and social pressures present many life challenges, and a need for support, for many people. Using the client's goals as the foundation, I provide client-focused counseling while promoting self-understanding, coping skills, and integrating the support system for client growth.
I am a board certified in Telemental Health, certified as an eating disorders specialist and hold a post-graduate certificate in Sports Counseling in addition to being a licensed clinician (counselor and psychologist). Services are provided in-office or via HIPAA- compliant secure video sessions.
