You're used to being the strong one, the one everyone depends on. The caregiver. The one who holds its all together. But lately it feels like the weight of everything is catching up to you. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or even depressed, while still trying to show up for everyone else. Many of my clients struggle with feeling overwhelmed, anxious or burned out from caregiving and the pressures of everyday life especially as a plus sized person living in today's society. I offer my clients a safe space to help them process through what feels like a weight they carry on their shoulders.
I specialize in supporting African American plus size women navigating anxiety, depression, and self-worth challenges, especially when it comes to feeling confident in social spaces. I also welcome clients from all backgrounds who experience similar struggles. Utilizing a person-centered approach is how I begin to connect with my clients.
My approach is compassionate, affirming, and grounded in understanding how identity, life experiences and responsibilities shape your mental health. Therapy with me is a space where you can breathe and be fully seen. We will focus on managing anxiety, building self-worth, setting boundaries, and helping you feel more confident showing up in the world.
