I’m a recovering perfectionist. And I thought I was doing pretty good with my journey, until I experienced an unexpected major stroke. That major life crisis was, ironically, a great opportunity to reassess what I was doing to take care of myself…physically and emotionally. As a high-achieving Black woman (and stroke survivor) who is still recovering from perfectionism, I’m passionate about helping other high-achieving professionals to pause, to breathe, and to assess what they are doing to take care of themselves…physically and emotionally.
I specialize in helping ambitious individuals who are used to “getting everything right” in their careers and responsibilities but feel stuck or unsatisfied emotionally. In therapy, I help you quiet the storm in your mind, gain clarity and perspective, and implement small but powerful behavioral shifts that can lead to meaningful change.
