I am Tiara Williams, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 7 years of experience. I specialize in trauma systems therapy and individual therapy for all ages to address life transitions, stressors, anxiety, depression, and grief/loss. I have provided family therapy to foster care youth to discuss trauma history, reunification, and adoption. Additionally, I have worked with foster parents to address behavioral concerns and help youth cope with transitioning.

I received my Master’s in Social Work from Howard University and use approaches including emotionally focused therapy, art and music therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques. I also encourage clients to use cognitive reframing, weekly goal sheets, and thought journals to support their growth.
