Welcome - I am passionate about working with adults on their journey of healing and finding purpose. Some of my experience includes working with individuals who have experienced general life stressors and transitions as well as attachment concerns and relational trauma including domestic violence, sexual assault, substance use, incarceration, and homelessness. I utilize a holistic approach to therapy which blends elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and Interpersonal therapy to best suit your individual needs.
My knowledge of mental health and social justice drives my passion for advocacy in providing equitable mental health care. I focus on bringing compassion, honesty, respect, & empathy to sessions in order to meet clients where they are in their journey. We will work together to build connection & identify your strengths to support meeting your goals.
Most importantly, I will treat you as an individual, help to build psychoeducation, and act as a guide in understanding that you are not your past traumas or diagnosis. You embody great strengths and together as a team we will explore and empower those strengths to help you overcome adversity and life challenges. I look forward to working together!
