I am passionate about accompanying clients on the journey of exploring and increasing insight into the experiences that have shaped them into who they are as human beings and that at times, contribute to experiences of suffering and struggle. I view therapy as a place to honestly and genuinely explore past and present experiences in the here-and-now, with the goal of growth toward a more fulfilling future. I integrate Animal Assisted Therapy with my animal partner, Luna, into my work with clients interested in working with an an animal in session. I provide in office sessions for Maine based clients/ telehealth for Texas clients.
My therapeutic approach is flexible, individualized and culturally sensitive recognizing each client as the expert of their own lived experiences. In session, I like to pull in ideas from a variety of therapeutic modalities but prioritize meeting clients where they’re at, and don’t believe in a one size fits all model for therapy.
As a therapist, I tend to be warm and compassionate and highly focused on strengths. I take a genuine and supportive approach with clients and really prioritize creating a safe space for us to establish a trusting relationship for exploration, growth, and healing. My goal is to provide you with a space where you feel comfortable and safe.
