I work with Individuals, Couples, adolescents, and persons identifying as LGBTQI, who feel as if they need assistance figuring out their personal barriers to success and happiness. I provide assistance to those who may need to overcome generational stigmas or traumas that have left them with negative self thoughts, mood issues, thinking and behaviors. In todays society we face a daily onslaught of emotional and physical triggers, just by reading the news or figuring out food ad other simple necessities while working! I get it, and I can help balance your emotions, priorities and self-care, in the midst of all the chaos.
I have over 20 years working with marginalized populations as a community program manager and psychotherapist. I graduated from CSU, Sacramento with my BS in Criminal Justice. I received my M.A.in Counseling Psychology, from Holy Names University, in Oakland. I am a Bay Area native who is versed in the cultural norms and values of our diversity here.
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I assist in instilling hope and facilitating change in others who face a variety of barriers and concerns. I can help you to better understand objectives and life goals and plan how to achieve these objectives without bias or judgement.
