I am Dr. Catherine Bukovitz, a licensed doctor in the medical field and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I am nationally board-certified and also hold a certification as an Addiction Specialist. I work with adults, and I strive to be caring and non-judgmental while being insightful and solution-focused in addressing trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, relationships, and addictions.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and major life transitions.

I have a genuine desire to help others fully experience life and live with intention. I specialize in trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, and over the last 12 years, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, adults, and specialized populations.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of experience. I specialize in trauma intervention and PTSD and their associated symptoms (anxiety, depression, and panic). I provide a safe space and offer unconditional personal regard to build rapport with clients, making therapy interactive and effective.

My path to becoming a mental health provider has been shaped by both life experience and a deep commitment to helping others navigate difficult moments with clarity and compassion. After many years of personal and professional growth, I returned to school to pursue my Master’s in Social Work. I’m now a LCSW and primarily work with adults navigating life transitions, depression, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. What drew me to this work, and continues to guide me, is a deep respect for people’s resilience. I’ve seen how much can shift when someone feels truly heard and supported.
