I have over 10 years of experience as an LPC working with individuals, couples, and families. My pastoral background also enables me to support clients using their spiritual resources.

I am Jennifer Dishner, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has worked with a wide variety of populations in many different settings, including public schools, inpatient hospital units, and community work. Helping individuals and families find their strengths and self-worth is a major role of my clinical work. It is through this clinical work that I believe clients are best able to realize their potential growth and maintain positive change. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Longwood University in Virginia and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lynchburg College.
I am Jennifer Dishner, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has worked with a wide variety of populations in many different settings, including public schools, inpatient hospital units, and community work. Helping individuals and families find their strengths and self-worth is a major role of my clinical work. I have a family full of relatives that are in the helping field including my mother, who is a social worker. The path became clear and I knew I could do more as a social work therapist. I wish that all clients knew that they have everything they need inside to live a happy, peaceful life. Therapy is the path to uncovering happiness.
