My belief for therapy is that everyone has a life in mind, a way they want to be, a way they want to live. Sometimes there are barriers or difficulties along the journey to becoming our ideal self. I want to work with you as you navigate these struggles. My goal is to create a safe place for you to be open, explore yourself, learn, grow and, most importantly, heal. I use a variety of techniques that will help guide our work together.
Some of those techniques include Cognitive-Behavioral, Teaching Coping Skills, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and other evidence-based models. I believe work should be collaborative, with you as the expert about you, and I'm always open for feedback as to how I can serve you better. Let's get you Thriving and Shining!
I have been practicing in Clinical Social Work since 2008. I have experience working with clients in the community setting, inpatient and outpatient setting providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and groups as well as substance abuse and crisis intervention services. I also enjoy teaching and training others.
