I am a clinical social worker and psychotherapist working with adults and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, difficulty coping with life transitions, trauma, and those seeking personal growth. I am skilled at assisting couples with achieving better communication, increasing trust, and enhancing intimacy. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma focused care. I aim to help people gain self-awareness in examining the connection of their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and life experiences as they continuously influence each other.
I utilize a strengths-based, psychodynamic approach and promote the use of mindfulness in my practice. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for a range of issues including depression, anxiety, and behavior disorders. I work with adolescents and adult individuals, as well as couples.
I believe a key aspect of a successful therapeutic experience begins with the relationship. The therapist and client must develop positive trust, rapport, and a secure connection within this vulnerable space in order to promote impactful positive change. My approach is individualized and rooted in helping clients gain deeper awareness in themselves.
