I am a retired Army Veteran experienced in working with individuals, couples and families who are having difficulty coping with depression, domestic violence, stress, anger and grief. Weekend appointments are available and encouraged. My personal goal is to be a solution to the many military personnel regardless of status in finding the way back to living a healthy and happy life rather than settling for defeat. Special rates are available for Wounded Warriors. Sliding scale for under-employed.Currently accepts CPS Clients.
Family is precious but many have lost family to separation, divorce or death and need the encouragement to continue. I believe in being focused on finding a solution to what hurts so that you can continue to move forward yet not forget the lessons learned, making you stronger inside.
My practice is named in honor of a very special man that I fell in love with who was also a veteran. He loved to help people as much as I do but was brutally murdered before he got the opportunity to reach his goals.This explains my Theme "Veteran taking care of Veterans".

To reduce the dependence of substances & help manage your stress and depression due to grief and loss of a loved one, broken relationships or depression you can learn how to use both hands to create beautiful things out of yarn which helps to encourage yourself to stay positive and mindful. When you crochet the mind helps you control your feelings and it is impossible for you to crochet and feel sad at the same time. The more you work the less you need the drugs. Research has proven that you can change your thoughts and feelings by repetitive use of both hands in crocheting.
