About
If you are suffering from depression or anxiety, dysfunctional relationships, trauma, grief or a life transition, such as divorce, illness or job loss, I am here to help as these are my areas of focus. I ascribe to a bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach to therapy and believe these four elements make an important contribution to our mental well-being. To ensure healing, I will meet you where you are and we will call upon a broad array of disciplines within and outside of psychology. If you are seeking a meaningful and successful therapy experience, I offer an empathetic and caring environment which is the foundation of my work.
I specialize in mood disorders, particularly depression and anxiety, relationship issues and life transitions. My higher education includes Yale, Harvard, Adler, Texas and Duke. More importantly, I bring a rich and varied life experience to the therapy room. As a seasoned executive in my former life, this is extremely beneficial to therapeutic effectiveness.
An empathetic and caring therapeutic environment is essential to meaningful and successful therapy. Together, we will explore the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behavior as this is highly beneficial in healing. Understanding the factors that impacted the client in the past can also help guide therapy and open up a world of new possibilities.
