I firmly believe that addiction often serves as a symptom of deeper issues, and individuals frequently resort to unhealthy behaviors as a coping mechanism. Failing to address these root problems can lead to relapse. My expertise lies in treating co-occurring disorders, including trauma, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, supported by over 15 years of professional experience.
Substance use is frequently approached with a uniform strategy, which is ineffective. I employ a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, such as EMDR, CBT, and Solution Focused Therapy. To me, it is illogical to tackle addiction without examining the underlying causes—much like treating diabetes without considering diet and lifestyle.
