About
I'm a Licensed Psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience. I bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and my open mind and heart to my clients. I believe in meeting people "where they are!" on their personal journey. I work with my clients to co-create a therapeutic relationship that allows each person to face their issues and wounds and to embark on a journey of recovery and healing. I believe that the resources for healing lie within the individual. My job is to help to unblock those resources to allow emotional, physical and spiritual growth to occur.
I employ a variety of today's most accepted and proven clinical approaches, including; Marriage and Family Systems, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Humanistic, Addiction and Co-Dependency Models, and The Four Streams. My strengths are in working with adults and adolescents around issues of family, spirituality, depression, relationships, anger, addiction and codependency.
I value and emphasize living from a place of personal integrity and accountability. I have special skill and expertise in working with addicted individuals and families. I have special passion for helping couples create loving relationships. I have special passion for helping people lead lives of integrity and meaning.
