Therapy should lead somewhere. Effective therapy requires honesty, clear goals, and a willingness to examine patterns that are no longer useful. It should also provide space to heal from the experiences that have shaped you. The goal is to take what you discover in therapy and use it to make meaningful changes in everyday life. My approach is compassionate, personalized, direct, and grounded in an understanding that every client has a different history, set of needs, and pace for change.
Areas I address include anxiety, depression, shame, addiction, OCD, panic attacks, relationship concerns, and stress. I also help clients improve coping skills, develop healthier relationships, increase career satisfaction, explore spirituality and faith, and clarify their sense of meaning, purpose, and direction.
